My Story: What Made Me Enroll?
Hi My name is Warren, While studying theatre arts at Temple University, I found my love for meditation while learning about various spiritual practices such as Buddhism and Hinduism.
As I continued to seek knowledge and wisdom about mindfulness, I noticed my way of life slowly become more manageable and even fulfilling.
Fast forward to the end of 2020, two years since I graduated from college, I have a nice job, but I know it’s not what I want to do for the rest of my life.
After some reflection, I realized that I’ve always felt called to serve others, whether it’s as an educator or a healer. Since Mindfulness and Meditation are skills that I felt passionate about teaching, I would do just that.

My experience with the School of Positive Transformation
What drew me to the School of Positive Transformation was it’s authenticity.
I was interested in becoming a Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher, and I wanted to make sure I only learned from people who knew what they were talking about.
It’s easy to take a class from someone online and learn some good info, but I loved that the School of Positive Transformation certification is well accredited.
I could understand why, since the sessions in the course gave a well-rounded perspective of meditation. There are hands-on learning that helps you practice various methods of meditation.
There’s loads of scientific research to back up the significance and validity of meditation. Plus, there’s critical thinking that prepares you for what to expect when teaching others the art of meditation.
I felt well informed, even though I had my own vast experience in meditation.
What I liked about the course:
I appreciated that it was hands-on learning and provided so many resources and techniques to aid you even after finishing the course.
I think the course helped break down all the different techniques that might be used when teaching meditation.
I like the example scripts; they are good resources. I also enjoyed the questions about what challenges may occur in meditation. I wish there were some kind of example of meeting with a student and guiding them in meditation to help explain what an actual class looks like.
What I didn’t like:
I wish that it gave more tips on how to start establishing yourself in a Meditation Coaching career. But it’s, not a business class, so I understand.

I found a job as a Meditation Coach about two months after earning my certification at Aura Health, and I do believe it helps boost your resume. I only wish that I had more info on how to get started in my meditation teacher career, but I know that it’s not a business class.
I just googled about income and salary and these are the details, which are kind of similar considering mine.
Impact Of SOPT On My Life:
The School of Positive Transformation gave me the tools to be a knowledgeable and engaged meditation teacher. I walked away from it feeling more confident in my abilities.
The accredited certification will definitely get your foot in the door for seeking job opportunities. I found a job as a meditation coach for a mindfulness app about 2 months after finishing my course.
For years, the art of mindfulness has taught me so much about acceptance, patience, compassion, and self-awareness.
Thanks to the School of Positive Transformation, I have learned how to properly share these techniques with others who wish to reduce stress in their daily lives while improving their quality of living.

Yes, I recommend it to anyone who wants to diversify their understanding and practice of Positive Psychology, mindfulness and meditation.

Not to promote the School of positive transformation, but I have concluded this after doing the course and getting a job.
