Hello! My name is Johannes Ramushu.
I’m an MBA candidate from the City of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Currently I am a trader and investor, who spends time investing and trading in the financial markets (e.g I trade and invest in currencies, shares, indexes, etc).
I have a Bachelors’s degree in Accounting as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management
from the University of Johannesburg(UJ).
In the five years that I spent at UJ, I learned everything from financial strategy, taxation, accounting, financial management to performance & risk strategy and cost management accounting.
In between all the studying, I dabbled in programming and did a lot of reading. I played mental and physical sports like chess and football. That sums up my college life.
In addition to my Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate Diploma, I’ve also got two certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
These are the CMSA (Capital Markets & Securities Analyst Qualification) and the CBCA (Certified Banking & Credit Analyst Qualification).
These have really helped me boost my career. I’ve worked as an auditor/accountant and as a personal financial advisor too.
Trading and investing is something I’ve done for a long time. I trade & invest in the stock market, in currencies, indexes, etc.
Outside of work and education, I enjoy listening to music, playing chess, and watching television.
Otherwise, you’ll catch me reading business articles or magazines in my free time.
I’ve always enjoyed learning and passing on my insights and knowledge.
